David Minor

I am one of the original creators of the Blackout Dance Team (VCU’s only nationally ranked dance team) and have been coaching and choreographing the team since its beginning, leading them to two consecutive national titles in 2011 and 2012. Having started dancing at three and being a member of multiple dance teams I bring over nine years of extensive experience in the competitive dance industry and 18 years of dance any team I work with. While studying dance at VCU, I also choreographed for multiple dance teams and studios around the country winning numerous awards and recognitions.  I have also worked as a summer camp instructor for EDA, UDA, and other competition companies. Currently I am the head coach of my own dance team The Blackout Dance Company and a teacher at All That & Jazz in Northern Virginia.
